The LNFS in collaboration with the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, has launched the Second Edition of the Advanced Course on 'Management of Sports Companies and Organizations', starting November 15 and will be aimed at all professionals who are currently, or want to be linked in the future with the professional management of sports clubs and entities.
The LNFS in collaboration with the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, has launched the Second Edition of the Advanced Course on 'Management of Sports Companies and Organizations', starting November 15 and will be aimed at all professionals who are currently, or want to be linked in the future with the professional management of sports clubs and entities.

The large number of students enrolled in the first edition, the positive assessment at the end of the course by the students, and the pre-enrollment of professionals from Brazil and Italy, among other countries, predicts academic success in this new and improved edition of the course. Daniel Ibañez, current asistant coach of Inter Movistar, players like Marquinho, Eka, Marcelinho, Joan Linares or José Revert, and managers of clubs, took the course in the first edition.

This advanced course, has the scientific and academic endorsement of one of the most prestigious academic institutions in our country, the University Rey Juan Carlos, which has currently more than 30,000 students, will last 120 hours (4 credits CTS) and will be 'online', but lectures are scheduled-and has the objective of developing the management skills of the sport managers so they can meet the new challenges faced by institutions in the world of sport.

The training, targeted at managers, presidents, general managers of the clubs in the Association and other sports organizations and professional sports world, students, players and managers from other sectors, will address among other subjects: Business Management and Marketing in the Sports Sector (20 hours), Sports Financial Management (10 hours), Sports Management (20 hours), Management Skills in Sport Organizations (20 hours), Sport Organizations Protocol (20 hours), Sports Facilities Management (20 hours) End of Course Project (10 hours).

Participants in this advanced course will receive at the end of it and completing the final project, the official title which will allow them in a scientific and academic way, professional training in sports management.

The course will be taught by a large team consisting of ten teachers teaching at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Two of them, Alicia Blanco and Francisco Diez, will assume the functions of academic directors on the Advanced Course.
Professor Blanco works in the Department of Business Economics of the URJC, and teaches in the area of Marketing and Market Research of this University and in various ESERP Masters and the Madrid Chamber of Commerce. Her research focuses on Consumer Behavior, Investment in Fixed Assets Collection and fairs as a marketing tool.

Meanwhile, Francisco Diez is coordinator of the School of Juridical and Social Sciences of the URJC. He has worked on several national and international universities, and teaches in various Masters and institutions such as the Madrid Chamber of Commerce or “Madrid Excelente”. One of its main fields of research is the organizational legitimacy and strategic management of companies.

The faculty of the course is completed by Ana Cruz Suarez (management professor and expert in business management), Iria Paz (professor specializing in psychology and marketing), Miguel Prado (Professor expert in auditing and accounting expert), Alberto Prado (Professor, marketing expert), Jaime Manera (professor who has over 20 years in the area of coaching), Rocío Samino (expert lecturer in coaching), Lourdes Rivero (doctor specializing in consumer behavior, knowledge transfer and business strategies and marketing) and Alberto Romero (teacher expert in coaching who works in the fields of technology and knowledge transfer, international marketing and foreign trade).
