The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Angel María Villar, honored three historic coaching staff members of the Spanish national tem, the assistant coach Juan Jose Rodriguez Navia 'Cancho', the fitness coach, José Antonio Díaz Rincón, and the doctor, Lorenzo Garcia Camacho, in appreciation for their dedication and professionalism during the years they worked for “La Roja”, coinciding also with the most glorious period of Spanish Futsal.
Two World Cups and five European titles are the main titles of an enviable track record. After the Hungary 2010 European tournament they left the  staff, and Villar, accompanied by the President of the National Futsal Committee, Antonio Escribano, wanted to pay them tribute.

Juan José Rodríguez Navia 'Cancho' former player of  Caja Segovia, Marsanz Torrejón and the Spanish national team, debuted as the assistant coach and goalkeepers coach at the World Cup Spain '96 and now he´s still linked to futsal as a commentator on LNFS Futsal matches for Marca TV. "Javier Lozano encouraged me and convinced me to a new project and I thank him and all the players and coaches with whom I shared so many games and so many great moments, for having lived this experience. I would have liked to continue longer, but we are fulfilling cycles. I consider myself lucky because this is not available to many to have had the privilege of winning two World Championships. In addition to the titles, I think we've succeeded in changing the history of Futsal and the sport model in recent years. The first World Cup in Guatemala marked a before and after for the sport and those of us who did it."

José Antonio Díaz Rincón, trainer of Toledart, CLM Talavera, Dynamo Moscow, Muebles Caloto, Playas de Castellón and the national team since Spain '96, where he participated in 129 games. "It´s been a luxury to do something you like, in good condition, because we never lacked any means in the national team, and achieving sports success. I'll stick with the professionals I've met, players and three inseparable people for me: Javier Lozano, Cancho and Lorenzo".

Finally, Lorenzo Garcia Camacho has been the most veteran professional in the history of “La Roja”, accumulating 267 caps. Always at the service of the Spanish team, with which he debuted in 1990, he´s been for 20 years the national team doctor. In addition, he has combined this work with being head of medical services for the football teams Córdoba, Extremadura and Numancia. "It´s been an honor and a life lesson to share a dressing room for so long with so many professionals, especially with the  physical therapists I´ve worked with; without them  I couldn´t have done my job. All awards given to me during my career I owe to the National Futsal team. I´ll never forget having shared staff duties with Cancho, José Antonio and Javier Lozano and the two World Championships we won in Guatemala and Taiwan."
