ElPozo Murcia has won their fourth Super Cup of Spain in their history after winning the Final against Inter Movistar on penalties after a draw (2-2) at the end of the match. Murcia ends a drought of more than two years without getting a national title.

Since in June 6, 2010, ElPozo Murcia was proclaimed champions and rounde out a perfect 2009/10 season with Cup and Super Cup, Murcia had linked two seasons without lifting a single trophy after five seasons with four league titles, two Super Cups and two Cups of Spain.

Moreover, with the Super Cup of Spain 'A Coruña 2012, Duda´s team finishes off a rut of four Finals lost in the last two seasons (two in Cup of Spain, one in King's Cup and last season´s league title, all against FC Barcelona Alusport, whom they eliminated in semifinals).

The whole team, starting with the captain, Kike, had special words for Grello, who could not play the Super Cup of Spain because he received a blow from a ball in the last training of ElPozo at Murcia on Friday that caused him an eye contusion. His companions posed with the shirt number 21 of the Italian-Brazilian winger.
