| 12/06/2010 - Wilde Gomes, 29, ex ElPozo Murcia player, is now playing for FC Barcelona. The player has signed a three years contract. The Brazilian player visited the sport facilities of his new club and wore the blue and red T-shirt. He had the chance to be with Marc Carmona, manager of the team.
 “I´m very happy; now I am where I wished to be”. Moreover, the player stated that he has already met many of the Barça players”.
Wilde is an excellent player, a “goal” player. “I have improved my defense moves, I´m better now”, stated the player, who has managed to score 46 goals in the last season.
Regarding his participation in the club, the player stated: “Every player has to do his best. From my point of view, the group and the good relationship with the colleagues is the key factor for a great team”. The forward has a wish. He expects to have the same successful career that he did when playing in Murcia. “I will do my best with the aim to win as many titles as possible”.
Marc Carmona: “I hope he becomes a key player, as he was for ElPozo”
Marc Carmona, manager of FC Barcelona, talked about this new signing. “We have signed up a player that has won four leagues. He is actually a high scorer and has an excellent defense move. I hope he becomes a key player in FC Barcelona, as he was in ElPozo”. Regarding Wilde´s adaptation, Carmona stated: “Wilde knows the contest and he has been playing for a strong team”. |
